Stay on top of what fruits and vegetables are in season each month and be inspired to try new foods and eat locally!
This calendar was created by Mumbleweed's founder Stevie Driscoll, a watercolor artist and hand letterer/calligrapher in Toronto, Ontario. Originally from rural West Virginia, Stevie grew up with a huge vegetable garden and her diet was inextricably tied to the seasons.
However, after moving up north to the big city, she found herself out of touch with that cycle and dismayed by the apparent dearth of produce available in the colder months. This calendar project reflects her effort to reconnect with the land and appreciate the bounty that it provides. Inside you’ll find many classic seasonal favorites like asparagus and peaches, along with some more unusual treasures like pawpaw and kiwi berries.
This calendar is unbound so each page is loose. You can choose to hang them all together using the provided bulldog clips (available in 3 colors) or display multiple months at a time so you always know what's coming up.
Each calendar is printed one-at-a-time, so you get to choose when it starts! For example, if you order April 2020, you will get a calendar that starts May 2020 and goes through April 2021.
- Size: 11" x 17"
